Community Outreach

Our goal is focused on building community support and awareness of the PNI’s multidisciplinary regenerative medicine and brain repair program by 1) disseminating knowledge about disease causes, symptoms and potential new innovative disease modifying interventions through our website, newsletters, podcasts, publications, news coverage, community presentations and meetings; 2) offering our resources for the training of graduate, undergraduate, rotation and summer students, as well as postdoctoral and visiting scientists from national and international institutions. We strive to participate in outreach activities, educational and intern summer programs and facilitate research projects by external investigators to promote our resources. Our mission is to pursue excellence in basic and translational research and serve as a national resource for training next generation stem cell and primate researchers.
